Theater Schießbühne e.V. (Germany), Etaireia Symvouleftikis Ypostirixis kai Politistikon Drastiriotiton EN ARMONIA (Greece), association Act'DEM (Actions Diversité Echanges Mixité) (France)

are organising a blended training activity as part of the implementation of the "Multicultural Dance Therapy as a tool for Inclusion, Diversity, Mental and Physical Health" project and are inviting 24 adult trainers in art, culture and psychology. It will take place on Skiathos Island in Greece from August 10 until August 19, 2022, in an exterior place in nature, which will be equipped by the Municipality of Skiathos.

In this activity, 24 adult trainers in art, culture and psychology (including 12 with fewer opportunities) and 6 staff members (2 from each partner) will participate for 10 days. The 24 adult trainers will be selected by this open call. Eight (8) will be selected by EN ARMONIA (including 4 with fewer opportunities), 8 by THEATER SCHIESSBÜHNE (including 4 with fewer opportunities) and 8 by ASSOCIATION ACT’DEM (including 4 with fewer opportunities).

The criteria for the selection of the 24 adult trainers will be the following:

- interest in sharing and promoting the results of the project,

- gender balance.

Through this activity, the selected participants will benefit by:

- promoting equal opportunities by involving participants with fewer opportunities in this activity,

- developing environmental consciousness, adopting sustainable practices (sustainable food and means of transportation).

The expected results of this activity are:

- enhancement of the ability of adult trainers in art, culture and psychology to develop tolerance, mutual understanding and respect for inclusion and diversity to adult learners, including those with fewer opportunities, by using multicultural art-based methods,

- enhancement of the ability of adult trainers in art, culture and psychology to help adult learners, including those with fewer opportunities, to become familiar with different cultures, reduce xenophobia, develop respect for inclusion and diversity and live a psychologically and physiologically healthy life by using as a training tool a multicultural dance therapy methodology,

- enhancement of the access of open source art training tools to adult trainers and learners, including those with fewer opportunities, thus reducing disparities and promoting social inclusion,

- promotion of equal opportunities and access, inclusion, diversity and fairness during this activity by involving participants with fewer opportunities in the implementation of this activity,

- reinforced cooperation with partners from other countries,

- development of environmental consciousness by designing the project activities through an environmentally friendly approach.

In this blended training activity, the three organisations will cover the cost of the accommodations and meals of the participants for 10 days on Skiathos Island. Also, each participant will receive 300 euros for travel expenses.

Obligations of the participants:

Before this activity, the participants will be trained virtually for one month by the 3 partners.

The participants will be advised before travel to issue a European Health Insurance Card.

The participants will participate in daily workshops taught by the staff members of the three participating organisations who will use a multicultural art training tool. This multicultural art training tool aims to help the participants to teach their trainees to advance their mental and physical health and to become familiar with different cultures through the emotions and feelings arising from the learning process.

At the end of this blended training activity, the participants will evaluate the quality of the organisation of this activity, its content and its impact on them.
